"Worrying" trend

Audience of Corbynistas “boo” at Owen Smith answering a question about antisemitism in the Labour Party.

Jeremy Corbyn says: “There is no place for any kind of racism in the Labour Party”.

  1. Universal Shami said she wouldn't accept a peerage in exchange for services rendered. She promised the BBC this wouldn't happen. Oops.

Baroness Shami, universal human rights goddess, and proof that Labour never had a Jewish problem. The BBC couldn't be more pleased.

    2. If the MSM and social media is anything to go one, she has gambled a lot to get that red robe.

The trouble is, she does now end up, unelected, in a position of power.

    3. She already has more power and influence, unelected, than she will in the House of Lords. That's why she was brought in to give her blessing on Corbyn's 'inquiry' into anti-Semitism.

The Labour (and BBC) position will now be that there is no place for any kind of racism in the party, but of course we all know that anti-Jewish sentiment isn't racism, just perfectly understandable anger at the evil, apartheid, genocidal State of Israel.

  2. If it's any consolation they are more or less dead as a party, their only saving grace might be that UKIP also seem to have pressed the self destruct button.

  3. Another nail in the Liebore coffin. What a shame they smashed the Edstone.

    It would have looked appropriate.

  4. The last time the Labour Party split it didn’t turn out too well. New Labour for all their sins, did at least create an electable party. Labour under Corbyn may well be dead in the water, but it doesn’t serve democracy to have an opposition that is not creditable.

    1. Fair comment Terry.

The only problem is that, when they get into government, they only manage to "tank" the economy and create chaos.

The Tories are not much better but at lest they can "run a bath" or, at least, "manage a w*nk".

      Sorry mods.

    2. As PJ O'Rourke once said (about the US, but for the UK it's also apposite), Democrats claim that The Government can fix everything and help everybody, while the Republicans claim that The Government is incompetent and can't do any of that, but get elected and prove it.

These days the Republicans won't get elected, and in The Obamessiah Age, government is still incompetent and helps no one except the ultra-rich, but are still blamed for it. It's a lose-lose scenario now.
